COCHIN RIO DE JANEIRO (BRAZIL) Welcome to Rio De Janeriro, Brazil, Rio de Janeiro is a huge seaside city in Brazil, famed for its Copacaba na and Ipanema beaches, 38m Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mount Corcovado and for Sugarloaf Moun tain, a granite peak with cable cars to its summit. The city is also known for its sprawling favelas (shanty towns). Its raucous Carnival festival, featuring parade floats, flamboyant costumes and samba dancers, is considered the world’s largest. After immigration and clearance transfer to hotel for check in.

After breakfast, proceed to Mt. Corcovado. Rio de Janeiro is famed for its beaches like Copacabana, the Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mount Corcovado, and Sugarloaf Mountain. After the continental breakfast, proceed for a half-day tour of Corcovado Mountain. Board a cog train from Cosme Velho Station for a ride to Corcovado Mountain to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Experience the 20-minute steep train journey, which takes you through the dense Atlantic rainforest of Tijuca, offering a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest's lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and the city. You will disembark at the top of Corcovado and then proceed up the steps that lead to the top lookout, where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Get up close to Christ the Redeemer and spend some time viewing the panoramic view of this beautiful city of Rio from the incredible mountaintop vantage point. Proceed to descend by train. After lunch at the restaurant, enjoy a half-day visit to Sugar Loaf. The Sugar Loaf is a worldwide symbol of Rio de Janeiro and offers the most beautiful views of the city. It is a combination of two mountains reached by a cable car. The first one, called Morro da Urca, is 220 meters high and offers a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Botafogo and Flamengo, the local airport, and the Rio-Niteroi Bridge. From this stage, a second cable car will take you up to the top of the second mountain, 395 meters above sea level, to find a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and some beaches of Niteroi. The Sugar Loaf has become a trademark of the city, making this an unforgettable tour.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Rio de Janeiro international airport to board a flight to Lima. It is the capital of Peru, also known as "The City of the Kings," and lies on the country's arid Pacific coast. The landscape, historic cities, and colorful culture of Peru make it one of the best places to photograph in South America. Though its colonial center is preserved, it's a bustling metropolis and one of South America’s largest cities. Arrive in Lima, and after immigration and clearance, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Today, we explore Lima city. We see Plaza San Martin—one of the most representative public spaces of the city of Lima, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1988 by UNESCO. We visit the Convent of San Francisco, a church and monastery complex built in 1766 in New Spanish Baroque style. We also visit Plaza de Armas, known as the birthplace of the city of Lima and a historic center surrounded by the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lima, Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the Municipal Palace, and the Palace of the Union. followed by visit to Larco Museum – a privately owned museum of pre-Columbian art it showcases chron ological galleries that provide a thorough overview of 5,000 years of Peruvian pre-Columbian history and Huaca Pucllana - clay pyramid built of seven staggered platforms. In the evening, we visit Miraflores area to see the views of the cliffs, El Parque del Amor – Landscaped Park overlooking the ocean with a huge kissing sculpture and mosaic walls. Later we have free time to explore Barranco District – considered to be the city’s most romantic and artistic area. We continue to the famous Archaeological Museum where many cultures of Peru are on display, including the Chavin, Paricas, Nazca, Chimu and Inca. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay

Transfer from hotel to Lima Airport for your departure flight to Puerto Maldonado. Puerto Maldonado is the capital city of the Madre de Dios region in southeast Peru. It's also known as a gateway to the southern Amazon jungle. The central Obelisco tower offers views over the city, plus local history exhibits. A busy ferry dock sits on the edge of the Madres de Dios River, close to the Plaza de Armas. Near the city, biodiverse Tambopata National Reserve spans savannah and old-growth rainforest. Arrive at the airport and transfer to Wasaí Maldonado Ecolodge, where you will receive a tropical welcome juice and a brief explanation of the trip. Later we will start a trip of approximately two hours to Wasaí Tambopata lodge. The trip is initially carried out by land vehicle for 47km of paved road followed by 17 km of an off-road route that passes through settler’s farms and primary forests. This road ends in a small port in the Tambopata River where our motorboat will be waiting for us to cruise the Tambopata River downstream for approximately 20 minutes, headed towards Wasaí Tambopata Lodge (Box lunch on the route). During the journey we will have the opportunity to observe various bird species, hopefully families of capybaras, the world's largest rodents, alligators and other wildlife. Arrive at the Lodge. Introductory nocturnal walk to understand rainforest ecosystems and see and listen to the insects, bats, frogs, and perhaps some occasional encounter with some nocturnal mammal. Return to the lodge for dinner. We will enjoy diverse sounds of the jungle which will accompany our first night in the Amazon. Early wake up at 4:30 am to begin with our 60-minute journey upstream to the Macaw Clay Lick “El Chun cho” in the Tambopata National Reserve. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful natural sceneries and wildlife of the riverbanks. At our arrival, if weather permits, we will observe one of the greatest wildlife spectacles where hundreds of parrots and different species of macaws gather to eat clay, an unforgettable experience. We will have breakfast while we wait for the macaws to arrive. Halfway through the morning we will return to Wasaí Tambopata Lodge. Later Cruising through the Tambopata National Reserve offers the best opportunities to see capybaras, tapirs, monkeys and with luck: jaguars. At your arrival, you can relax in the hammocks or have the chance of swimming in the Tambopata River. Those who wish can go kayaking on the river (optional) or go fishing some of the 250 species that inhabit the river. After lunch, we will make a short ethno botanical walk of 1 km to learn about plants and how they inte grate with the ecosystem. You will find out about medicinal plants and other uses that the native commu nities give them. We can see walking palm trees, sacred lupuna trees, hollow trees inhabited by ants and more. You will wake up with the beautiful sunrise of the jungle to leave the lodge. After breakfast you will have free time until the transfer to Puerto Maldonado airport to board flight to Cusco, upon your arrival in Cusco the ancient capital of the Incas, we greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel following brief orientation and a cup of traditional coca tea to assist in the acclimation to the 11300 Ft. in the capi tal of Cusco. The City of Cuzco, at 3,400 m above sea level, is located in a fertile alluvial valley fed by several rivers in the heart of the Central Peruvian Andes of South America. Cusco, a city in the Peruvian Andes, was once capital of the Inca Empire, and is now known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial archi tecture. Plaza de Armas is the central square in the old city, with arcades, carved wooden balconies and Incan wall ruins. The City of Cuzco is a unique testimony of the ancient Inca civilization, heart of Tawant insuyu imperial government between the 15th and 16th centuries. The city represents the sum of 3,000 years of indigenous and autonomous cultural development in the Peruvian southern Andes. Early in the morning after breakfast we pick you up at your hotel and take you to the railway station for the tourist class train to Machu Picchu. The 3-hour train journey passes through picturesque Andean scenery, passing traditional villages, Inca ruins and rushing rivers. We’ll descend 1300 meters through the sacred valley of Incas and follow the Urubamba River until the final stop at Aguas Calientes. After ward we’ll take the 20-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu, perched 600 meters above the river. Our guide will explain you the history and the myths that surround this archaeological wonder Machu Picchu. The famous lost city of Inca is of the most magical and mysterious places on Earth. Stand 2,430m above sea-level in the middle of a tropical mountain forest. In an extraordinarily beautiful setting, it was proba bly most amazing urban creation of the Inca Empire at its height, its giant walls, terraces and ramps seen as, if they have been cut naturally in the continuous rock escarpments.

Breakfast at hotel, It’s an early start today as we visit the Uros Island, famous for living on their floating islands. The fairy-tale-like Uros Islands are made entirely from totora reeds; the lives of the inhabitants of these artificial islands are entirely dependent upon the reed beds they live among. The Uru or Uros are an indigenous people of Bolivia and Peru. They live on a still-growing group of about 120 self-fashioned floating islands in Lake Titicaca near Puno. They form three main groups: the Uru-Chipaya, Uru-Murato, and Uru-Iruito. The Uros Islands are floating on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca, a few miles from Puno, the main city on the lakeshore. The islands used to be closer to the middle of the lake, but they moved or rebuilt closer to the shore following a devastating storm in 1986. Later we join our bus and transfer to KASANI border between Peru and Bolivia. We pass the border, and we get on-board to Copacabana to explore South America's largest lake aboard to our boats, stopping at the sacred 'Island of the Sun'.

It stretches to El Alto city in the highlands, with snow-capped, 6,438m-high Mt. Illimani as its backdrop. We take the cable car to the south district of La Paz. Arrival and lunch at restaurant. After breakfast, proceed for entrance to National Park, We will visit the Brazilian side of the falls. Walking around the trails on the Brazilian side is much easier than walking on the Argentine side of the waterfalls. Located 28 km from the centre of the city of Foz do Iguaçu and by crossing the Iguaçu River, through the Tancredo Neves Bridge, in 30 minutes. You’ll start your journey via the Jungle Train to the Devil’s Throat Station, which is the largest waterfall in the Iguazu Falls, located amid the Brazilian and Argentinean Falls. The absolute highlight of the Iguazu waterfalls is the "Devil's Throat" (Garganta del Diablo), which consists of 14 waterfalls in a 150-meter (492 ft) wide and 700-meter (2297 ft) long gorge. From there, on foot, you’ll take a footbridge of 3,600 feet that leads to the immense waterfalls and experience this UNESCO World Heritage site in all its glory! The platform at the end offers incredible views of the falls. The first European to record the existence of the falls was the Spanish Conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541. As one walks, the trails get better and better with different views until one arrives at the bridge. That is the best part, the feeling of the water on the face. Taking marvelous pictures of rainbows circling the waterfalls. After the trail, one will approach the foot of some waterfalls for some other spectacular photos. The falls produce a mist that is crowned by beautiful and immense rainbows, giving the visitor a true spec tacle of sound and colours. After lunch, proceed to cross the friendship bridge that connects Brazil to Paraguay. Visit beautiful city of Paraguay Ciudad del Este. It is a city on the Paraná River in Paraguay, known for its shops and malls. The central Museo Mensú is a museum with artefacts from the Chaco War as well as handicrafts. The Friendship Bridge connects the town to Brazil and offers city views. The Triple Frontier has views to Argentina and Brazil. Nearby is the towering Salto del Monday waterfall. Evening return back to Iguazu for dinner and over night stay.

In the beginning, from the first lookout, one will be impressed by the amazing panoramic view of the waterfalls in Argentina. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1984. The river, aptly named after the indigenous term for “great water” forms a large bend in the shape of a horseshoe in the heart of the two parks and it flows into the mighty Parana River less than 25 kilometres downriver from the park. Large clouds of spray permanently soak the many river islands and the surrounding riverine forests, creating an extremely humid micro-climate favouring lush and dense sub-tropical forests. Sometimes there are animals on the trail like the coati (Nasua) begging for food. They are nice animals, but our food is not good for them to eat. Is forbidden to feed animals in the park. Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight to Sao Paulo. It is the Brazil’s largest city in South America sits on the Piratinin gaplateau and is surrounded by rivers.
