After breakfast, we will drive toward Toledo’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Begin with a guided city tour, including a visit to the magnificent Toledo Cathedral, one of the finest Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Explore its impressive chapels, ornate altars, and remarkable art collections. Continue your walk through Toledo’s medieval Old Town, wandering along its charming narrow streets, and enjoy stunning panoramic views from the Mirador del Valle. Later, we return to Madrid for a guided city tour. Start your exploration at Puerta del Sol, the symbolic heart of the city, where you can see the famous Kilometer Zero plaque and soak in the lively atmosphere. Walk to Plaza Mayor, Madrid’s majestic central square surrounded by elegant cafés and historic buildings. Spend some time enjoying its vibrant ambiance. Proceed for a photo stop at the Royal Palace of Madrid, the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Continue with a drive past Plaza de Cibeles, admired for its iconic fountain and the stunning Palacio de Cibeles, now serving as the City Hall. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk along Gran Vía, Madrid’s most famous avenue filled with theatres, shops, and architectural landmarks. After breakfast, we will proceed to Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage city renowned as the “Golden City” for its unique golden sandstone buildings that glow beautifully under the sunlight. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided orientation tour of this historic and culturally rich destination. Visit Salamanca Cathedral, considered one of the top ten cathedrals in Spain, admired for its magnificent blend of Gothic and Baroque architecture. Continue to the iconic Plaza Mayor, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in Spain. After breakfast at your hotel, begin a guided city tour of Porto. Start your journey by crossing the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, a remarkable double-deck iron structure that spans the Douro River and offers breathtaking panoramic views of Porto’s historic skyline. Continue with a visit to the Porto Cathedral, a 12th-century Romanesque masterpiece that provides sweeping views over the city and the river. Admire its impressive architecture and beautifully decorated cloisters. Enjoy another perspective of the city as you once again view the grand expanse of the Dom Luís I Bridge, connecting Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia. Upon arrival, visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and home to the tombs of the three shepherd children who witnessed the Marian apparitions in 1917. The historic 18th-century lighthouse, standing proudly on the edge of the promontory, adds an element of charm and continues to guide ships navigating the challenging Atlantic waters. After taking in the spectacular views, we will continue to Sintra, a picturesque town nestled among the lush hills of the Serra de Sintra mountains. Known for its magnificent palaces, enchanting castles, and magical landscapes, Sintra is often described as a true “fairytale town.” Its romantic architecture, misty forests, and royal estates make it one of Portugal’s most captivating and unforgettable destinations. After our visit, we will drive back to Lisbon, the vibrant capital and largest city of Portugal, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and historic charm. We will begin our guided city tour with a visit to Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square).
