We board our connecting flight to Athens. Upon arrival, we freshen up and begin a scenic drive toward Kalambaka, a peaceful town set against the dramatic backdrop of the towering Meteora rock formations. The journey through the Greek countryside offers beautiful views of mountains, villages, and fertile plains. After lunch, we check in at our hotel and spend some time relaxing. Later in the afternoon, we proceed to visit the magnificent Meteora Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched atop majestic rock pillars, these centuries-old Byzantine monasteries are marvels of faith, architecture, and human perseverance. Inside, we admire ancient frescoes, sacred icons, and beautifully preserved interiors that reflect centuries of spiritual devotion. From the monastery viewpoints, we enjoy sweeping panoramas of the Thessalian plains—an unforgettable sight that radiates serenity and wonder. After this enriching and scenic experience, we return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and begin our scenic journey toward Delphi, a destination deeply connected with ancient Greek mythology, spirituality, and history. Known in antiquity as the “Navel of the World,” Delphi was believed to be the point where heaven and earth met. It was here that the Oracle of Apollo delivered prophecies that influenced the decisions of kings, warriors, and explorers. As we travel through the beautiful mountain roads of Central Greece, we pass charming villages, olive groves, and dramatic landscapes before reaching the mystical slopes of Mount Parnassus. On arrival, we begin an enriching guided tour of Delphi’s archaeological site. Our visit includes the Temple of Apollo, where the legendary Pythia once delivered her divine messages. We then make our way to the Ancient Theatre, set on the hillside and offering magnificent views of the sacred valley below. Our exploration continues at the Treasury of the Athenians, an elegant marble structure that commemorated the victories and devotion of ancient Athens. Walking through this sacred sanctuary, surrounded by mountains and deep valleys, we experience the powerful spiritual aura that made Delphi one of the most important religious centers of the ancient world. After completing our tour, we proceed to the hotel for check-in. The evening is free to relax and reflect on the rich history and beauty of Delphi. Later, we enjoy dinner at the hotel before settling in for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we depart Delphi and enjoy a scenic drive toward Olympia, travelling through the beautiful landscapes of Central Greece. Set in the lush and tranquil valley of the Alpheios River, Olympia is celebrated as the birthplace of the Olympic Games, a sacred site where athletes from across the ancient Greek world gathered in honour of Zeus. The serene surroundings and rich history of the region create a sense of stepping into a timeless world of athletic spirit and mythology. Upon arrival, we begin our exploration of this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our tour starts at the Temple of Zeus, once home to the colossal Statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Though the statue no longer stands, the ruins echo the grandeur and significance of the temple that once held it. We then visit the Temple of Hera, one of the oldest monumental temples in Greece, and the place where the modern Olympic flame is still lit during a solemn traditional ceremony. We continue to the Ancient Stadium, where athletes competed in various events thousands of years ago. Walking across the original running track gives us a vivid sense of the athletic excellence and competitive spirit that defined the ancient Games. Our tour also includes the Palaestra and Gymnasium, the training grounds where athletes prepared for wrestling, boxing, and other events, offering a fascinating insight into ancient Greek sporting culture. After this enriching and inspiring visit, we proceed to our hotel for check-in. The evening is free to relax, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Olympia.

After breakfast, we spend some relaxed leisure time exploring Olympia’s charming local shops, where a variety of traditional Greek products make wonderful souvenirs. From pure olive oil, fragrant local honey, and beautifully crafted pottery, to handmade textiles and artisanal keepsakes, this is a perfect opportunity to take home a piece of Greece’s cultural heritage. After enjoying lunch, we begin our drive toward Athens, travelling through changing landscapes and coastal stretches. Along the way, we pause for a memorable photo stop at the iconic Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel carved through solid rock to connect the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Its dramatic, narrow passage and steep limestone cliffs create a striking sight that showcases both natural beauty and human ingenuity. We then continue our journey and arrive in Athens, the historic capital of Greece. After checking in at the hotel, we have free time to unwind or explore the surrounding area at our own pace. In the evening, we can enjoy a leisurely walk through nearby markets, vibrant streets, or cafe-lined corners of the city. Later we will have dinner at restaurant, after which we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin our guided city tour of Athens, a journey that blends the grandeur of ancient civilisation with the charm of modern Greece. Our exploration starts with a visit to the iconic Acropolis, the crown jewel of the city, home to historic masterpieces such as the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion. We continue with a panoramic tour of Athens, passing by major landmarks including the Panathenaic Stadium (the site of the first modern Olympic Games), the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Zappeion Megaron, the University of Athens, and the Academy of Athens. We also see Hadrian’s Arch, the Greek Parliament with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the serene National Garden, the Catholic Cathedral, and the impressive Russian Orthodox Church. Each site reflects the rich cultural layers that make Athens so remarkable. Next, we visit the world-renowned Acropolis Museum, home to over 4,000 artefacts from the Acropolis site. Here, we admire masterpieces such as the elegant Caryatids and the celebrated Parthenon sculptures, gaining deeper insights into the city’s ancient heritage. After an enriching day of sightseeing post dinner, we return to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we transfer to Athens Airport to board our flight to Istanbul, followed by a connecting flight to Cappadocia, a region renowned for its otherworldly landscapes, fairy chimneys, and ancient cave dwellings. As we descend into this magical land, the unique geological formations and panoramic views of valleys and rock pillars immediately captivate us, offering a glimpse into a region shaped by both nature and history. Upon arrival, we visit the charming riverside town of Avanos, famous for its pottery traditions. Here, we witness skilled artisans creating beautiful ceramic pieces using techniques passed down through generations. This hands-on cultural experience provides insight. After exploring Avanos, we proceed to our hotel for check-in. The evening is spent enjoying a delightful dinner, followed by a restful overnight stay in Cappadocia, as we prepare for the adventures awaiting us in this enchanting region.

In the early morning, those interested can experience an optional hot air balloon ride, drifting over Cappadocia’s unique valleys, fairy chimneys, and rock formations as the sun rises. Floating above this surreal landscape, with panoramic views stretching across the region, is a truly magical and unforgettable way to start the day. After breakfast, we embark on a full-day tour of Cappadocia’s iconic attractions. Our first stop is an Underground City, once used as a hidden refuge by early inhabitants to escape invasions. Exploring its labyrinth of tunnels and chambers gives us a fascinating glimpse into ancient life. We then visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring rock-cut churches adorned with centuries-old frescoes, showcasing the region’s rich religious and artistic heritage. Next, we explore Pasabag (Monks’ Valley), famous for its striking mushroom-shaped rock formations, sculpted over millennia by nature. We stop foe a photo stop at Uchisar Castle. In the evening, we enjoy a traditional Turkish Night Show, complete with folk dances, live music, whirling dervishes, and unlimited drinks, providing a lively and entertaining conclusion to the day. We return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Cappadocia.

After breakfast, we check out from our hotel in Cappadocia and transfer to Kayseri Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, we begin our exploration with a relaxing Bosphorus Cruise, gliding along the strait that separates Europe and Asia. During the cruise, we enjoy stunning views of palaces, elegant waterfront mansions, and the iconic bridges, all set against the backdrop of Istanbul’s historic skyline. This scenic journey offers wonderful photo opportunities and a chance to appreciate the city’s unique charm from the water. Following the cruise, we visit the bustling Spice Bazaar, one of Istanbul’s most vibrant markets. The aroma of spices, nuts, dried fruits, sweets, and Turkish delights fills the air, while the colorful displays provide a feast for the eyes. This immersive experience introduces us to the heart of Istanbul’s lively market culture and offers opportunities to shop for authentic souvenirs. In the evening, we proceed for dinner at a restaurant. Afterward, we check in at our hotel in Istanbul for an overnight stay, resting and preparing for the next day of sightseeing.

After breakfast, we begin our full-day city tour of Istanbul, a city where history and modernity blend seamlessly. Our first stop is Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of the Ottoman sultans, where we explore its grand courtyards, pavilions, and royal collections that reflect centuries of imperial luxury and power. Our tour continues at the magnificent Blue Mosque, renowned for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and graceful domes. Later, we visit the bustling Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. With thousands of shops offering jewelry, carpets, spices, leather goods, and souvenirs, it is a shopper’s paradise and a vibrant cultural experience. After a day full of history, architecture, and shopping, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

After breakfast, we head to Pierre Loti Hill, ascending via a scenic cable car ride. At the summit, we take a moment to relax with a coffee while enjoying the stunning panoramic views of the Golden Horn, capturing the beauty of Istanbul’s waterways and skyline. Next, we visit the majestic Süleymaniye Mosque, an architectural masterpiece designed by the legendary Mimar Sinan, known for its grand domes, elegant courtyards, and serene interior. The mosque reflects the grandeur and spirituality of the Ottoman era. After lunch, we explore the magnificent Dolmabahçe Palace, a symbol of Ottoman opulence with its luxurious interiors, crystal chandeliers, and rich historical significance. We also make a photo stop at the historic Galata Tower, one of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks, offering fantastic views of the city. In the evening, we enjoy a lively Turkish Night Dinner featuring traditional music, folk dances, and unlimited local alcohol, providing a vibrant cultural experience. We return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

After breakfast, we take some time to relax and enjoy the morning before checking out from the hotel. We then transfer to the airport for our flight to Abu Dhabi. Upon arrival at the terminal, we have an opportunity to shop at the duty-free area, exploring a variety of international brands, souvenirs, and gifts before boarding our flight. This is a perfect moment to pick up last-minute keepsakes and reflect on the memorable experiences of our journey.

We board our connecting flight to Cochin, bringing with us wonderful memories of our unforgettable Greece and Turkey tour.
