Itinerary

Our European adventure begins today as we gather at Cochin International Airport in the evening. After meeting our tour manager and completing check-in formalities, we board our Qatar Airways flight to the magnificent capital of Italy – Rome, a city where history, art, and culture meet at every corner, with a convenient layover in Doha. Upon arrival at Rome Airport, we complete the immigration and customs formalities and collect our baggage. A comfortable coach will transfer us to our hotel in Rome, where we’ll check in and unwind after our long journey. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from the flight, preparing ourselves for the exciting exploration of the Eternal City that awaits tomorrow.

After a refreshing breakfast, we check out and begin our day of exploration in Rome, the cradle of Western civilization. We start by visiting Vatican City, the world’s smallest independent state and the spiritual center of the Catholic Church. Here, we step inside the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica, renowned for its majestic dome, Renaissance art, and Michelangelo’s masterpieces. Every detail, from the marble floors to the towering altars, speaks of centuries of faith and craftsmanship. After lunch, we stop at Colosseum (Photo Stop), one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and a timeless symbol of ancient Rome. Standing before this colossal amphitheater, we can almost imagine the echoes of gladiator battles and roaring crowds from two millennia ago. By late afternoon, we leave Rome behind and drive through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to the charming town of Arezzo. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed overnight stay, reflecting on the timeless splendor of Rome.

After breakfast and check-out, we embark on a scenic drive through the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany, one of Italy’s most picturesque regions. Our destination is Pisa, a city world-famous for its architectural wonders and charming streets. We visit the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we see three of Italy’s most celebrated landmarks – the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Photo Stop), the Cathedral (Photo Stop), and the Baptistery. Together, they form one of the most beautiful architectural ensembles in Europe. Take some time to admire and capture the tilted elegance of the Leaning Tower, a symbol of both human error and genius. After this memorable visit, we continue our journey north to Padua, one of Italy’s oldest and most historically rich cities. Upon arrival, we visit the Basilica of St. Anthony, an important pilgrimage destination that houses the saint’s relics. The basilica’s grand domes, exquisite frescoes, and sacred chapels create a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Later, we check in to our hotel and rest for the night.

Today’s adventure takes us beyond Italy’s borders into neighboring Slovenia, where one of Europe’s most extraordinary natural wonders awaits — the Postojna Cave system. The journey itself offers a scenic transition from the gentle plains of northern Italy to the forested karst landscapes of Slovenia, giving us a glimpse of a new country’s beauty and character. Upon arrival, our visit begins with a remarkable electric train ride that whisks us deep inside the vast underground network of limestone caverns a thrilling and memorable experience for all. After the train journey, we continue on a guided walking tour through illuminated galleries filled with towering stalactites, stalagmites, and delicate rock formations, each sculpted over millions of years by nature’s artistry. The play of light and shadow across these formations creates an almost surreal, dreamlike atmosphere. Upon arrival, we board a boat to San Marco Island, the historic and cultural heart of Venice, gliding along the waterways and taking in the city’s picturesque bridges, colorful buildings, and bustling canals. Stepping into St. Mark’s Square together is like entering a living painting, surrounded by the grandeur of St. Mark’s Basilica (Photo Stop), with its golden mosaics and domes, and the ornate Doge’s Palace (Photo Stop), a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture. Here, we’ll have time to wander the square, admire the stunning landmarks, and marvel at the iconic canals and vibrant atmosphere that make Venice so unique. In the afternoon, we bid farewell to Italy and begin our picturesque drive through the Austrian Alps to Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol region. On arrival, we enjoy an orientation tour of the city, including a photo stop at the Golden Roof, a historic balcony covered in gilded tiles that glisten in the mountain sun. We then check in to our hotel for an overnight stay in this alpine wonderland. Before leaving, enjoy a short stroll along the canals, capturing photographs and absorbing the city’s magical ambiance one last time.

Upon arrival, we enjoy an orientation tour featuring some of Lucerne’s most iconic landmarks the charming Chapel Bridge, a symbol of the city’s medieval heritage, and the Lion Monument, a poignant sculpture carved into natural rock to commemorate the Swiss Guards. We then have free time for shopping, where you can browse for Swiss watches, chocolates, or souvenirs in the delightful old town streets. Later, we board a train from Lucerne to Engelberg, a scenic journey that brings us closer to the majestic Swiss Alps. After lunch, we prepare for one of the most thrilling experiences of our tour — an excursion to Mount Titlis. Our ascent begins with a series of cable cars, culminating in a ride aboard the world’s first revolving cable car, the Rotair, which offers breathtaking 360° views of snow-capped peaks and glacial landscapes. At the summit, we’ll experience the Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge, and take in panoramic vistas that stretch endlessly across the Alps. After a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell to Zurich and begin a day filled with natural beauty, cultural charm, and scenic landscapes as we journey through Switzerland and Germany. After breakfast at the hotel, We start our orientation tour of the city. Our first stop is the magnificent Grand Place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Surrounded by ornate 17th-century guildhalls and the grand Town Hall, this historic square perfectly captures the elegance and spirit of Belgium. Take a moment to soak in its lively atmosphere and capture some wonderful photographs. A short walk away, we stop at the city’s most famous and quirky landmark the Manneken Pis, a small bronze statue that has become a beloved symbol of Brussels. It’s a perfect spot for a fun group photo. Later we proceed to Paris. Upon arrival we proceed to experience one of Paris’s most beautiful attractions a scenic River Seine cruise. As we glide along the river, we’ll enjoy magical views of landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower. After the cruise, we’ll proceed for dinner at a restaurant. Later, we’ll transfer to our hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Paris.

After breakfast at the hotel check out and we begin our day with a visit to the world-renowned Louvre Museum, home to some of the greatest works of art ever created. Together, we’ll admire Leonardo da Vinci’s legendary Mona Lisa and explore countless other masterpieces that span centuries of history and culture. In the afternoon, we continue to discover the timeless beauty of Paris on a city tour. As we drive through elegant boulevards and charming neighborhoods, we’ll see many of the city’s most famous landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe (Photo Stop), Place de la Concorde, and Les Invalides, while hearing fascinating stories that make Paris truly unforgettable. Later, we visit the iconic Eiffel Tower. We’ll ascend to the 2nd level for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Later we transfer to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to board our Qatar Airways flight back to Cochin via Doha.

We arrive back at Cochin International Airport, marking the end of our unforgettable 13-day European journey.
