Assemble at Cochin International Airport at 0010 hrs to connect the flight
leaving at 0340 Hrs to Cairo via Sharjah.
Arrival Cairo International Airport at 11:00 AM, after customs and baggage
claim from the airport, you’ll head straight to the impressive National
Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home to the celebrated Royal
Mummies Hall and artifacts spanning the entirety of Egypt's dynastic
and cultural history. After this immersive start, enjoy a traditional
Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, transfer to your hotel for
check-in and some relaxation. In the evening, you’ll embark on a magical
Nile dinner cruise, sailing along the river that has given life to Egypt for
millennia. Enjoy an open buffet, traditional music, belly dancing, and a
Whirling Dervish show while taking in Cairo's illuminated skyline. After the
cruise, return to your hotel for a well-deserved overnight stay.
After breakfast at your hotel, the day’s journey takes you deep into
Egypt’s ancient heart with a visit to the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau. Here,
you’ll explore the world-famous the last remaining Wonder of the
Ancient World, along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure.
Marvel at the enigmatic Great Sphinx, a colossal limestone statue
guarding the tombs for over 4,500 years. Walk around the Valley
Temple, a beautifully preserved mortuary complex once used for
mummification rituals. Your guide will provide insights into pyramid
construction, the afterlife beliefs of ancient Egyptians, and the legends

After an early breakfast, set off for a scenic drive to Alexandria, the

exploration with a descent into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a vast
underground burial site blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art and
architecture in a unique and mysterious setting. Next, visit the striking
Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern reincarnation of the ancient Library of
Alexandria, offering breathtaking architecture and a repository of
knowledge and art. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant. The tour
continues with a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a fortress built on the site
of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of
the Ancient World. After a full day exploring this city of legends, you’ll
return to Cairo for dinner and another overnight stay at your hotel.
Following breakfast, you’ll travel northeast to Ismailia, a peaceful city
nestled along the banks of the Suez Canal. This strategic waterway
connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea, making it one of the
world’s most important trade routes. You’ll observe massive cargo ships
gliding silently through the canal, gaining a sense of the engineering
marvel that is the Suez. The visit includes an opportunity to learn about
the canal's construction, significance to global commerce, and its
impact on Egypt’s modern development. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant before a short city tour showcasing Ismailia’s colonial-era
charm, tree-lined boulevards, and scenic lakes. In the late afternoon,
return to Cairo for a quiet evening and overnight rest.
On your final morning in Cairo, begin with breakfast before visiting one of
Egypt’s most iconic treasures: the Golden Mask of Tutankhamun at the
Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. You’ll explore the dazzling artifacts from
the young pharaoh’s tomb, including jewellery, statues, and the
legendary gold burial mask, gaining insight into the discovery that
stunned the world in 1922. If time allows, take a stroll through Khan El
Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s oldest market, to pick up last-minute souvenirs like
spices, handmade jewellery, or traditional crafts. Later, you will be
dropped at Cairo Airport to connect the flight to Cochin Via Abu Dhabi
and reaching Cochin at 0835 am (Next day).
