Itinerary
- Morning assemble at Cochin Domestic Airport,
later board the flight to Bagdogra.
- On arrival at Bagdogra after baggage collection
transfer to Gangtok.
- Later check in at Gangtok hotel and overnight
stay
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Later Proceed to Nathula Pass (subject to operational and government conditions)
then to Tsomgo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5
hrs this lake is located very close to Nathula Pass, which is the entry point to china
termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake
is home to the Brahmin ducks and many migratory birds.Nearby is the sacred
Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth.
- Evening back to hotel and overnight stay
-Breakfast at the hotel
-Check out from hotel and proceed for a half day
sightseeing of Gangtok covering Do-rul Chhorten,
Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of
Handicraft & Handloom.
-Later transfer to Darjeeling.
-Upon arrival at Darjeeling,check in and Overnight at
hotel
- Early morning at around 04: 00 am (subject to clear
weather) proceed to visit to Tiger Hills to view the
sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third highest
peak in the world). Later back to hotel for breakfast.
- Post breakfast proceed for a half-day local sightseeing of
Darjeeling covering
Padmaja Naidu Himalayan
Zoological Park ,Himalayan Mountaineering Institute,
Japanese Temple -Peace Pagoda, Tenzing Gombu Rock
and Panoramic tour of Tea Estate.
- Evening back to hotel and overnight stay
Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport to board the flight home.
