Itinerary

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be warmly received by our representative. You will then be transferred privately to Fort Kochi and check in to a charming heritage or boutique hotel. After some leisure time to relax and unwind from your journey, enjoy a leisurely walk through Princess Street and the quaint lanes of Fort Kochi. In the evening, visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at sunset, followed by a relaxed visit to a seaside café. Overnight: Fort Kochi

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day visit to the main venues of the Kochi–Muziris Biennale, including Aspinwall House, Pepper House, David Hall, Anand Warehouse, and other satellite venues. During the visit, experience a vibrant range of contemporary art installations, multimedia exhibits, global artist showcases, and interactive performances. The day also offers an opportunity to witness cultural programs such as Kathakali and Kalaripayattu, providing a rich blend of modern art and traditional heritage. Overnight: Fort Kochi

Enjoy a guided heritage sightseeing tour covering St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and the Dutch Cemetery, followed by an Indo-Portuguese architecture walk through the historic quarters of Fort Kochi. Later, proceed to Mattancherry to visit the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) and the Paradesi Synagogue, and take a stroll through Jew Town and Antique Street. The day concludes with time to explore charming art cafés and galleries in the area.

After breakfast, drive to the Muziris Heritage Zone, which takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Visit selected heritage sites including Kottappuram Fort, Paliam Palace, and the Muziris Heritage Museum, followed by a heritage walk in the Kodungallur area. During the visit, learn about the ancient spice trade and the historical Jewish, Arab, and Roman connections of the region. Later, return to Fort Kochi and spend the evening at leisure, relaxing or enjoying a beautiful sunset by the waterfront.

The day is free for you to revisit your favourite Biennale venues and explore lesser-known exhibitions at your own pace. You may also interact with artists and curators, visit independent galleries and studios, and enjoy café hopping along with shopping for local handicrafts. Art workshops can also be attended, subject to availability.

After check-out from the hotel, you will be transferred privately to Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour concludes with memorable Kochi–Muziris Biennale experiences.
