Itinerary

On arrival pick up from IXB Airport Drive to Phuentsholing. The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. As reach Phuentsholing check in at hotels. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast check out the hotel and get the permit done and drive to Thimphu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, on the way visit Kharbandi Gumpha, Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojum to take photographs of the confluence of two rivers of Bhutan. After resume your journey for Thimphu, as reach check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.

After delicious breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Punakha. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (Dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. During the road trip, you will pass through the Dochula Pass, where you will spot mani wall, Chorten, prayer flags, and others. This is the country’s highest road. You can even spot the peaks of surrounding mountains, if the sky is clear. Top peaks to spot during your drive are Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang, Kangphugang, Table Mountain, and others. This includes the Gangkhar Puensum peak, which is the highest in Bhutan as reach Punakha; we will visit Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge & Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man’. After sightseeing transfer back to Thimpu and overnight at Thimphu.

After breakfast, Visit the Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma). Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre, Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Afternoon visit Simply Bhutan, Royal Textile & Museum, Handicraft Market, Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery and the Takin Preserve zoo Centre. Takin is the national animal of Bhutan. After sightseeing transfer to the Paro. As reach check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

After breakfast proceed for Paro sightseeing covering Dungtse Lhakhang, then stop at Bird eye view point from this point picturesque Paro Valley can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all of that looks stunning. Ideal time to go here would be between 10-11 AM. Then visit Ta Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang. Evening back to the hotel.

Early Morning after breakfast check out of from the hotel and transfer to Siliguri via Phuentsholing, As reach Phuentsholing, do the Bhutan exit procedure at Phuentsholing terminal, after that continue your journey for Siliguri, as check Siliguri check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Siliguri.
