Itinerary
Today morning assemble at Cochin International Airport. Meet your Tour Manager and Co Travellers. Later proceed to board the flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati after collecting the baggages transfer to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Upon arrival at Shillong proceed for hotel check in and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Cherrapunjee – the place on the earth. Enroute visit Elephant falls. At Cherrapunjee visit Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Post breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the Asia. You can take the sky walk to have a spectacular view of the Single living Root Bridge. Post lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot River, The Umngot River is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. Later drive to Kaziranga. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Post breakfast proceed for a Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park where wildlife roams fearlessly and enjoy a beautiful rendezvous with nature. During safari we will come face to face with one horned rhino’s, elephants, deer’s and rare migratory birds. After the safari in Kaziranga National Park transfer to Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati, proceed for check in at hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple (Outer View) one of the oldest and most revered centres of Tantric practices, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport to board the flight back to hometown.Tour ends with lots of memories to cherish for life time.
